Lijiang-Shangri-la-Lugu lake 6 day tour

 

Day 1: Lijiang-Shangri-la

After having your yummy breakfast, drive to Shangri-la, we will stop by the first bend of Changjiang river, roaring Tiger leaping gorge. take a stroll around square street of Shangri-la town and enjoy the Tibetan bonefire dance, or else, grab yourself a drink and have a good rest. stay overnight at Shangri-la.

Day 2: Shangri-la-Lijiang

get up at early morning, after breakfast then drive to Songzanlin, a monastery was first built here in 1679 and has been rebuilt many times. The architectural style of the building is a faithful imitation of the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet. take a easy tour in Pudacuo national park which is consist of Shudu lake, Bita lake and ecological village. drive back to Lijiang. stay overnight at Lijiang.

Day 3: Lijiang-Lugu lake

After 7 hours drive through the mountains, you touch the land of the last matriarchy society remained in the world! Enjoy the peaceful lake view at night. stay overnight.

Day 4: Lugu lake-Lijiang

take a ride on canoe, go boating around the peaceful lake. go deep with the matriarchal society. drive back to Lijiang. overnight at Lijiang.

Day 5: Lijiang attractions

Visit the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (5996m) area. Take a cable car up to Maoniuping (Yak Meadow) Go for a 1-2 hike at the top to take in the spectacular views of the snow mountains with the grasslands in the foreground. Continue onto Lijiang, stopping at Baishui He (White Water River) and Gan Haizi (Dry Sea) on the way for scenic views. drive to Jade Water Village-Sacred land of Dongba, the headstream of Lijiang, dig some cultural treasure in Dongba culture.

Day 6: Free time

free time in Lijiang old town, then in afternoon, transfer to the airport. the trip is finished.
